So where is the rest of the sign to go with that. There should be a bloddy arrow or a dead pig.

First time there was last week. Always hunted public land.... spent three days there. Never have seen so much pig sign... every where !!!!!! Problem was it was almost 70 degrees durning the day. Did not see any pigs. Did see a ton of signs....... 686 hunter in there so far, only 27 pigs taken.....Any advise on how to get a pig there ? Thx ...

1. Hunt after or during the rain. The ground will be wet so it will be quiet and the runoff/rain will conceal noise. Stalk uphill to redwood trees where they usually bed to stay try. That's how i got one last season at the lake, here's a video. Plus, the meat is more tender if they never wake up.

2. If the ground is dry find their trail leading out of their bed and wait over it in the evening.

3. Go in early morning and try and find pigs feeding before going to bed.

I'm sure there is plenty of other ways, but these three methods have either put a hog on the ground or yielded an opportunity to do so.

Dude! that is so cool! wow! nice way to get your hog. I've never hunted hogs, only ducks and pheasants, but just watching you do it, you make it look so easy. I don't know if I'd be going out there anytime soon, but thanks for sharing your hunting advice. I really like the way you think my friend :)

Liberty glen on south end then a night at yorty and back in to strawberry creek 22 miles of hiking and tag soup for dinner. Note: my body wasn't built for hiking so its even worse when I don't see much.
