lake sonoma hunts????

So it is really quiet about lake Sonoma is the hunting good so no one is talking?????? Or is the hunting really poor this year????? I don't think I have seen one pic of a pig taken this year. I wont be going till FEB I hope it starts to rain.

i was there yesterday..a couple of guy whaaked a nice eating hog!! so i know of one killed...me, i am still a big GOOSE egg there.

Not sure if Huntr doug is thawed out from that cold weather in truckee. As far I heard his bow has been frozen going back since the days BEFORE time. I think his better half shoots better with out punching that carter chocolate. His famous name "PUNCHIE" We might see him at the food bank soon holding a sign.:smiley_green_with_e

Here's a photo my buddy sent me of a nice hog his buddy shot...he said they saw about 5 pigs...don't ask me where they shot it or saw the pigs because I don't know...good luck to all

I was at Lake Sonoma over Christmas. Didn't see any pigs. It's bone-dry and the water level is way down. Nevertheless, there is significant sign, some of it appearing relatively fresh. The pigs are there -- they're just active at night. I also saw a few good-sized mountain lion prints. Be careful out there, especially if you're hunting alone.

My buddy said they shot this hog at 11 am coming from the lake to the bedding area...my guess is...go where no body goes and go where the pigs cross

I heard some guys got one over by loggers camp this weekend and I put a couple arrows in hogs near Liberty Glenn so they are still out there! My Game camera has alot of pictures of skinny hogs this year, hopefully we get some rains soon

i went up for my 7th trip of the year yesterday and i still havent seen a pig. Now that i look at all this im pretty embarrased to say it. I have hunted super hard and way off trail the pigs seem to be super scattered and there is so many acorns on the ground I have no idea how a pig could be skinny up there
