Howdy All, I'll be hunting the lake 11/5/02. I will forward the report upon my return. For those bow hunters/shotgun sluggers.... Check out the steep hillside above Broken Bridge campground( if it's still there, was run down last time I was there) I've been to the lake many times and have found hogs there consistently. It's on the main arm of the lake on the south side( left as you head out in a boat, right side of rockpile road heading up to Liberty Glen Campground) The closer you get to the lake the more hogs you will see. Email me with any help you may need! Good Luuck to all....

Eye~

Was just wondering when that report is going to come in?
I'm heading up there Monday morning for the Wed Nov 13 hunt and was curious as to how well you did, how many pigs you saw, etc.? I would love to hear from you before I head out there.

Howdy, sorry so late. On the 5th, I saw one large boar on the property just below the vineyard next to libert glen campground. There were hogs in the campground the night before the hunt but none the next morning. I know of one hog being shot at but not taken across the lake from the campground. I personally would hunt across rockpile road above broken bridge campground. I have had success there in the past but let my partner talk me into another spot this time. The bucks were impressive. Saw several with a couple of good three pointers. Typical eh? Good luck.

PS- Contact me if you'd like to hunt a private ranch in the same area(archery only)

The private ranch hunt would be great, only problem is I unfortunately don't bow hunt. Thanks for the offer though.
