Lake Sonoma Pig hunt auction

Hey guys, I wanted to let everyone know that the park has donated a 2 person archery pig hunt at the Steel head festival this Saturday for the silent auction table. You can do the hunt any time of the year. All proceeds go to the Friends Of Lake Sonoma which in turn are used to fund park projects, education, etc. Hope to see you there!

People can pretty much archery pig hunt at the lake 6 months out of the year. Why pay extra to do another archery hunt? A rifle hunt auction may get more attention.....just my 2 cents.

Damn! Nice hog. I arrowed one in December with a solid hit with that little rain. Spent 9 hours tracking with no recovery. Guess it wasn't as solid of a shot as I thought. I'm still bummed

Me and two of my buddies are going to head out there this weekend, have not hunted the lake yet this year (I have been hunting out there about four or five years now). We always hope for rain when we go but rarely get it, looks like we will have plenty of it come tomorrow! I hope to have a positive report for you all next week.

Are you a registered CA guide?
Are you and your selected friends hunting the slam dunk wildlife area petting zoo exclusively while the rest of us registered hunters bust our asses on public grounds?
Something just isn't right about this.
I said this before on another thread, that area should be open to the rest of us to hunt especially the to the A25 dear hunters that draw Lake Sonoma. Its Public Land !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If not, this is telling me it's OK to GUIDE without a GUIDE's license.
So does this mean I can load hunters in my boat and GUIDE them on hogs at Lake Sonoma too?
All proceeds will be going to the I need a new truck and outboard motor foundation.Strictly non profit.

I dont appreciate the personal attacks on White mamba, I have said this before Jayson is an outstanding person and hunter. He has worked hard for us ls hunters to get special opportunities and hunts by working closely with park officials and the Friends of Lake Sonoma. Yes I understand what u guys are saying butt Jayson not the bad guy ok. He knows that park like the back of his hand and has scored I am pretty sure he has scored more pigs out of that park then any other hunter here on JHO. That being said he can just sit low do his own thing at the the park and not worry about anyone else score pigs and be happy and u would never know it, but out of all us ls hunters he is the only one i know that goes out of his way to create other hunting opportunities at the lake for us instead of thinking of himself.
I tell u guys straight up if I was jayson and u post up comments like that towards me we be getting down brother, no if ands or butts, I don't don't play like that forum or not...tra
