Well said, Bankrunner.
Regarding skyblasters, yes, they know what they are doing. Some will admit it, and others won't.

Our sport is already on its way out. We don't need to speed the process by defending poor shots, regardless of whether the animal is classified as a game or nongame animal. Everyone of us has made shots that were less than perfect. That's not the issue. The issue is whether or not we have the ethics to avoid the bad shots when we know they are bad, or whether we take the shot anyway.

I did steal a candy bar when I was eight years old and I still keep the cover on my GoPro while filming and it distorts the sound....Is there anything else you guys need to know before I am gone???????????????

Yes.
Why are you getting so offended?

There are some very tame and polite differences of opinions, helpful suggestions, and normal questions that you appear to of taken offense to. Suggesting that somebody apologize because they asked what was done with the meat? Wanting to be thanked and told your video was nice? I try to give you constructive feedback on how to improve your vids and you've thought of every excuse to not try to deviate from your setup. The nice response to some of the things I said would of been hey thanks for the suggestion maybe I'll try that next time. But you are your own person and if you don't you don't, as odd as I may feel that action is, it is what it is. I'm also not here wanting to be treated with kid gloves or leaving a forum because somebody came into a thread of mine and said we shouldn't hunt bears because they're pretty. I get stupid comments from people on videos. That's life. I don't stop posting because of them or work up ways to be offended by the ones that are not.

Hey Guys we all have a block button I believe, if Canams killing or erratication of the hogs bothers you just don't look or block it.
I am still fasinated by the amount of hogs and yes envious, My comment was Sad it did not get havested and I hoped it lived to be hunted another day rather than a slow septic death and left to rot and be eatten by other hogs and vermit.
I would Think a shot thru thick brush with any caliber let alone a 223, . we could agree is a iffy shot, but if you don't care how the animal dies and its legal who cares. Can am keep on with the videos, many here injoy them, keep on erradicating on until their all gone, I wish San Diego and Catalina had let the hunters do the Hunting (excused me) Killing and had been able to Harvest the meat.

Since this thread is getting so many hits I was thinking of mentioning that striving for clean humane kill shots has got to be in a hunters code of ethics somewhere, not a 100% sure on that but it's got to be in there right? Also for new hunters and anybody that is thinking of hunting I was thinking of going into a whole thing about how good it feels to make clean kill shots and the other benefits of clean kill shots. Even though that's important, I think i'll just scratch that for now and take the opportunity to remind everybody with deer tags about harvest reporting, the deadline is January 31 or we get stuck with the $ fine when we buy our new license/tags.

Well, that thread did not end to bad. Thought I would let things "cool off". I am going to keep using my Mini and keep using the GPro the way I have been. So I thank everyone for your suggestions,,,,well noted..... Interesting last weekend. I was back in the "forbidden zone" and found this hog dog. Did not end well for him. I sent out some feelers to see if I could locate the owner to no luck. They hunt at night and the dog did not have a tracker or a ID. I did hit this hog with a good shot, just could not get to him until the next day. btw, the buzzards get to the hogs within 6 hours and then the coyotes so the carcass is gone in less than a day. Remember this is Texas. Also, I'll post my flickr site that I have some new game cam vids and pics. Caught a couple of deer going at it...Take Care, Stay friends....Canam….

p.s
Word is getting out, one of my neighbors said they are having a terrible time with hogs tearing up her farm,,,,SHE asked "if I would shoot every last one of them!!!!"

Of course,,,,I said.....glad to help out.....

Like BubbleHide was saying... freaking it is ASTOUNDING sometimes how long these damn critters still kep on running and moving and kicking even after good shots! They may not be running anymore... but MAN... some of em just will not quit. And especially if their brain is what was shot. I popped this rat one time millimeters behind his eye ball.. and MAN... that mofos took off like a ping-pong ball! For whatever reason his backlegs went crazy with kicking and trying to get away in flight mode after the shot had killed his brain.

And my first deer. Kick his legs for an amazing amount of time afterward. I'd say at least 1.5 - 2 minutes. He wasn't going anywhere, but boy were his fronts continuing to kick.

Had Rabbits where shot entered from directly behind and pierce thru heart/lungs area from spine downward. Did the typical backflip thing. Then kicked for an amazingly long time, and kept turning back to look over his shoulder at me fearful and wanting to run away. Couldn't believe it with the shot I'd made. Had to plug that particular one 2 more times with the AirRifle, until finally got him in back of head.

But yeah man... the coyote I shot.. and that one Rat... those where just insanely freaky.

They don't go that far after a good shot, but they'll go a long way after a marginal shot - and anyone that has been hunting for any length of time (especially us bow hunters) has made a marginal one. A shot to the vitals = a dead pig, even a big, tough one.

Carry on fellas and safe hunting.

Dog looks like it could have died of starvation or dehydration? Hard to tell for sure with the chest and neck guards but the lower halve seams more shrunken than the front. It almost looks like it hasn't been there that long if you just look at the front half combined with no critters eating on the carcass. Looks like she could have lost her foot before death, maybe scraping with pig? I say that cause i don't know of any critters that would come up to a carcass and eat the foot first, and then stop eating.
Did you happen to see any other injuries or flip it over and see any maggots?
