That is good news, not much of a fine but maybe this will now keep the crook from running that shady hunting program that a few years ago I spent my money on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given the mint that he's scammed out of guys that have posted here, I think $500 is nothing more than a minor tax on his opperation... he'd be an idiot to not continue to scam people if all he's ever going to see are $500 fines once every few years. Sheesh, the courts are treating him almost like a legitimate business man... what needs to happen is get the feds involved (aka, the eye-argh-ess) and bust him for not report his guiding income on his federal taxes.

That will put him in Federal PHITA prison... bet that gets his attention...

Rumor control says it was for operating without an oufitter's license. There is some sort of money level where you have to get a outfitter's license instead of a guide license. SInce he never actually guides the hunters I'm not sure if he even needs a guide license. He just took the money and told the folks to meet him at the general store and never shows up. Someone should post directions to Larry's house at the store so people can apply for their refund in person.

Thank you Warden Foster for responding to the many complaints. Keep up the heat folks. When you see the newspaper ads for Larry running this scam call the paper. Cite this recent bust and ask them to do the right thing and not accept his ads.

Shame on you Larry.
