Heres a pic of 2 friends (one that posts in here) came from northern california to run their dogs with me and a friend of mine. They brought their new dogs and we cought 2 hogs with our dogs and theirs. Both sows in the low 200s. Their new dogs basically got a trial by fire but the results were fair to good. The dog on the left is out of my female.

Nice job bigboarstopper! Pretty tough looking sows you got there. Those are some good lookin dogs. Judging by looks of those two pigs ears, the dogs had a pretty good hold on em.....

Farmerdoug, The dogs put the breaks on the hog pretty good. I got a little stupid on this hunt, mabye a little overconfident or was showing off too much and I got tossed over the back of one of them and bitten on the calf. I got some pics of my legs but my ego wont allow me to post the pics. :pig-laughing::smiley_doh:

Hey BigBoarStopper,

What cross are those dogs...looks like some cross with bmc, catahoula and greyound.

Ah come on show the pics...it should be good for your ego...just another war story in my opinion. Thats what makes life interesting...the ware stories we can share with others....
Jess.

The dog on the left is catahoula with basically equal parts kemmer cur, plott and airedale. Dog on the right is a catahoula queensland cross. As for the bumps and bruses, I will quote a famous man. "well thats all I have to say about thaaat" Forest Gump.
