Here is a couple of my latest sheds. The strange looking one is kinda special because I actually got a picture of him this year with my game camera.

The other one looks like he may have lots of potential when he gets older. He's sporting a 6 inch brow and a 12 inch G2.

Hey, those are a couple really nice sheds. That first one is really interesting with all those points crammed on the beam like that and some more "trash" trying to pop out there as well. Keep an eye on that guy this year. Greast tine length on that other one. DeerShed had one or two in his trunk with really long G-2's/G-3s when I saw him in early March. Around here the longest tines on sheds I've been able to pick up is about 9-10" and that's it. Nice going--how bout some in the field pics next time out?

Congrats baddison!!I like both of those sheds especially the second one.I like those long tines and it's got some nice mass though out the shed.
Wouldn't that be neat after you take his picture and find his shed if you harvested him this fall.

I haven't been out lately Shag, but come thur. and fri. I'm back at it again.

Hey, I was gonna ask, was that a "chap-Stick" next to each shed or was it a roll of Bounty paper towels? Makes a difference in how big they are. Just kidding. Nice sheds anywhere. Deershed....snowed again here so everythings been covered--melting some now.

I wish it was a roll of bounty paper towels.

Here is the game cam pic. I thought you might enjoy it.

When I first saw the picture. Those were my thoughts exactly! I could set in a blind for a week straight if I could see that pose for about 5 seconds.

Thanks for the compliments.

baddison, great picture of what looks like an exceptional buck. You gotta find those sheds......he looks like he'd score pretty good. You didn't mention, was that a recent picture from late fall or this past winter? Is he still walkin?

Shag,

Thanks for the kind words. The picture was taken Nov 15 2002. The shed was found a couple of weekends ago, so as far as I know he is still walking.

I'm pretty sure the deer will gross score in the mid 150's. He has a lot to be desired in tine length, but his main beam from the shed I found is 25 inches, pretty good for this area.

It took me a while, but I finally found the match.

I stumbled across it while hog hunting.

It definately has some ground shrinkage from the picture. If you give it a 16 inch spread it scores right at 149.

I'm still very excited to have found it.

Great job. I never seem to be able to find the other side if I don't find it in a day or so. I'd like to see them together in a pic also.

OK guys.... here is a pic of the two side by side.

deershed, I'm having trouble finding a turtle shell so I'll just have to stick with my chapstick.....I mean this blue paper towel holder.

Brotherwolf, A picture and a kill always makes a deer special. Not to mention the size. That deer looks like he weighs quit a bit?

Congrats on finding the other side. I hate when you find a nice one and can't find the other side, but then that shed hunting for you. Congrats again.
