I've been loading for my hunting partner in his model 70 and it likes a 168 gr. TSX in front of a max charge of H4831sc and a CCI primer. 3/4" groups. It also kills just fine.

never loaded with h4831sc but certainly will give it a try. thanks. right now i am loading 165game kings in front of max, well 1.4gr over max, of imr4350 with cci maglr primer love them. i loaded them up before i i could find load data and that is what shoots well for me sub 1/4 at 100.
also i am shooting a teka with an 11 to 1 twist so we will see

I am NOT a fan of the gamekings (failure to open in game or blow up and go everywhere) and think you would be way better off using the Nosler Accubond (if shooting copper/lead) or the TSX in similar weight. With that rate of twist you might have trouble shooting a 180 grainer, but so what? You can do it all with a 165 or 168.

so far teh gane kings have done fine. 1 elk and 1 antilope. elk was a head shot and the ant was a full pas behind the shoulder. exit was redicules. i have wanted to switch to a different load. just started to load my own and they were cost worthey for a new be. and yes the 180 are just to much for the gun. never shot well with otc rounds. but with 165 i will put 3 in 3in at 250 all day long. i an thinking 168 would do well. what do you think about the hornidys? have read mixed reviews. thanks for the info

The Hornady Interbond is an excellent bullet but I would still recommend the Nosler Accubond over all others in a conventional bonded core lead bullet. I am a big fan of the Barnes TSX and use the TTSX 168 gr. in my .300 wm to great effect. It flat folds big pigs, I dropped a 750 lb. Wyoming cow elk and shoot in the 2" range at 300 yards.

rooster300wsm nosler maker 168 e-tip thats a lead free bullet out of my 7mm weath its more accurate than a tsx but cant get as fast of velocities with the e-tip because it doesnt have the grooves.
