Leupold 12-40 X 60 Golden Ring Spotting Scopes..

Cabelas sells this scope for $800, or an "HD" for $1100. The "HD" is supposed to be better resolution. Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm wondering if the "HD" is worth the extra $300.

i don't know the difference,but i sure would like to buy one of either.
