What to see if anyone has bought one, what is the review, or heard?

My uncle just bought a pair and loves them. I haven't seen them yet to get a hands on.

I recently purchased an RX-II, and I'm enjoying it. I like the fact that it has an adjustable diopter, and that I have been able to get ranges out to almost 700 yds (not every time, of course). Since I mostly bowhunt these days, I haven't used the balistics features much, and the bow settings aren't extremely useful (most shots only vary by 1 or 2 yards, except at the steepest angles with distances longer than 40 yds.). The biggest problem that I ran into was that I couldn't seem to get a reading on anything less than 50 or 60 yds. I went through the manual, and all the applicable settings, but couldn't get a reading consistently. I met Snoopdogg, and we hunted together. He fiddled with it, and messed up all my settings, but when I got everything set back to the way I wanted it, it worked! I now get consistent, instant readings. I need to do more testing and comparison now that it's working properly. Before, I had a hard time getting a reading off certain targets (roof of house on hill behind mine, nearby road signs, etc.) I also experienced this kind of thing with a Nikon unit a Nikon rep was trying to get me to buy. kind of odd. I also have the lowest end Bushnell model, and was disapponted to find that AT FIRST I was able to get readings on the targets that the Leupold wouldn't. But as I said, that's all changed now. The optical quality, by the way, is orders of magnitude better than that of the Bushnell unit, which is pathetic in low light (next to impossible to use). I would highly recommend the RX-II. I found it online (popular auction sight, I think) for about $50 less than my retailer, by the way. I gave him the business anyway, though. Hope that helps!
