From what I understand the Lieca 1200 is the best. I've looked through them in a store and they're impressively bright and clear. And I also understand they range all the way out to 1000+ yards. I assume cheaper rangefinders only range to about half to 2/3 the advertised range -- or so. I have a pair of older Bushnell 400 rangefinders and can only range to about 285 yards. The review of the Bushnell 1500 binocular/rangefinders could only range to 500 yards.

My question -- does anyone have these and how far will the new Leupold RX IV range. I don't expect them to be as clear or as bright as the Lieca's but they look intriguing especially because of the inclination correction but I won't be interested if they're limited like the Bushnell 1500's are. Could anyone that owns one of these do a review?

I'm in the same boat as you. Looking for more info on the same range finder, looks like a good deal from what I hear. I can't decide between having a combo binoc/range finder or two seperate units. Have you looked on The Samples List. Com? Good Luck.
