Do any of you JHO'ers know if Colorado or any other western state for that matter have a Lifetime hunting license for residents or is California the state that does that?
Thanks,

Colorado doesn't have a lifetime license, we use to in the past, but they probably figured they'd be losing money.

In Colorado, its all about the Bling, Bling!

Idaho offers a lifetime license and I think Wy. does too.

I moved to Illinois to qualify for the lifetime license and have patiently been waiting for 30 days for it to process. With all the big money hunting has been going towards, I'm amazed they only charge $210 for a LL. Yet they have the most expensive nonresident deer tags in the country at almost $500. Go figure. I just hope once I get mine they do indeed honor it for life, and not bait-n-switch as many other states participate in. They will definitely lose money on me, and good for that, because $500 for a deer tag is nothing more than legalized rape.

just so you know.....In theory they are not loosing money on these lifetime liscences.....They use the money you pay for the liscence put it in a bank and use the intrest to pay for the tags....Additionally they expect people to buy liscences and move out of state or stop hunting. At least thats what the CDFG bet on
