One small hog hanging yesterday in the FHL cooler, not sure what area or who shot it. Solus and i hunted 11 this morning, nothing but bobcats and deer. Couldnt get a shot at the running cat. Nap time and back out this afternoon.

2 pigs taken when I left, both depredation hogs taken off the range. The pic above is one. My friend Jimmy missed a hog this morning in 13E with his muzzleloader. With powder, you have to wait for the bang, he lifted and looked a bit early he said.

I was just too sick to get out much this past week at FHL. Hunted 27 but didn't see much but one old track and some old rooting.

I came across a hog nursery in 29, must have been 8 to 10 beds, pig crap ranging in age from fresh to covered with mold. Place covered in tracks, I was down wind and the smell lead me to it. About 50 yards later I jumped about 15 to 18 cow elk at about 40 yards. Neither of us knew we were there until the last sec.

Great photos and stories. Jesse, sorry to hear you didn't feel well and didn't score.
I plan on buying my annual pass and coming out more this year. I have had some great hunts and love the terrain at FHL.
