Hunted Saturday, looking for sign. Got rained on aplenty. Saw pigs on the private land.
Sunday was looking windy, but dry. Saw one right off the bat, but not enough light yet for a clear shot. Later in the afternoon, in a place that had loads of fresh sign, I shoot one at 15 yards, too far back. It's almost 2 PM.
Around 4:45 PM I jump it after having gone on hands and knees trailing it. Right after sunset I drill it again, in the spine this time.
Dressed it was 90 lbs. A dry sow.
Gutting by flashlight sucks.
Im glad I was able to find it.
