Hunted Friday evening through Sunday night. Saturday was the best day, as far as seeing pigs goes.
Saturday morning, 10:30, I run into a pig while busting brush. It didn't act like it knew I was there, but ran off when I pursued looking for a shot. This all happened at 25 yards. That evening, right at last light, I hear one coming my way. I was on an avenue in the middle of the brush, and it was sounding like it was going to pop out right in front of me at 5 yards. I am drawn back, waiting, heart pounding, and it comes to a stop right before coming out, then snorts and bolts away at a 90 degree angle.
This is all 25 yards from the road.

Nice hogs for sure. TRA, you need to hunt the other side of the road.

Nothing like playing close encounters of the hog kind. At least you got your adrenaline to pump a little... that always makes for a good day.
