If u lived in Florida u can hunt them at night. Cali is so pro invasive species they do everything possible to make it tuff for a hunter to eradicate them compared to other states. Everything is about revenue and not really solving the problem. Eventually your Cali politicians will make wild hogs a protected game animal just like they did with the mountains lions And bobcats, Just like u can’t hunt bears with dogs anymore, u can see the pattern, so sad but true. I thought I would never leave Cali but we saw the income vacuum of the future coming and we had to leave before they depleted us of our hard earned life savings especially after retirement.
Florida is not perfect ( because of hurricane season…lol) but it has the affordability and cost of living factor and Florida does not have a state individual tax. and it doesn’t have ridiculous hunting restrictions and cost like Cali does either.
i turned 65 a 1 1/2 ago and I don’t have to buy a fishing license anymore, even before that it was only $17. a year for combined freshwater and saltwater.

Looks like the general area I was in when I brought my dogs along pig hunting...my dogs were not hunting dogs. One hated guns. Things did not go as planned. I should write up a story about it soon. Thanks for sharing those great pictures!
