I have a lease in Henrietta, Texas and have recently noticed hog sign around two of my three feeders going through the roof. Have only seen one on one late evening and I took him. They seem to be rooting in about a fifty to seventy-five yd area around the two feeders.Land owner next door claims that they have counted 140 or so running in a large group on their property(borders mine). Any tips would be appreciated. Whether it's baiting, or night hunting.....I am not very familiar with hog hunting. Their tracks pretty much cover the property. One feeder is right behind a pond bank, and the other is just outside of the woodline about four hundred yds away from th pond..they seem to be going to both places alot...looks like someone is taking a tiller to the ground!!!!

Try sitting by your feeder or by the pond on a full moon night. You'll be surprise what you will see.

Hunting by moonlight with a bow is fun stuff, def takes a pair to stalk around with the noises you hear at nigh, but for getting rid of them a comfy blind and a low power scope on a semi-auto shotgun or rifle would do the trick, but with a bow or crossbow you could do the same thing but they may or may not spook at the shot, could theoretically get multiple shots before they totally spook out of the area.

Some folks use pens to catch them at night.

Good luck, some folks will never see the damage they are capable of and don't understand why folks want them gone.

Bait with some soured corn or spent grains from a micro-brewery..

Keep checking for action - when you're getting a good party going, set up downwind during the time they're active, and stack 'em up.

If you need a hand gettin' rid of those hogs let me know...I'm sure we could get a JHO team out there to handle it.
