Could you all please name some logging companies that allow people to hunt on their properties in California? The only one I could confirm on the web is Sierra Pacific Industries. Thanks in advance.

I just saw a notice dated June 17 that states all SPI land will be closed this year. You might want to go to their website to read it.

This is a major bummer. It cuts down on my hunting areas by at least half. Let’s hope the Forest Service doesn’t close down too.

I saw the same post and it looked legit. I used to hunt SP ranches in Trinity area a long time ago and they were great. I would either call them or check their website to make sure its not a scam. Wildfires are no joke to the timber companies.

Collins Pine closure to public starts 6/28

WM Beaty closure to public started today 6/21

At this post I fully expect the National Forests to do the same at some point this summer, just like last year. If they do I would hope they give us more than 5 hours notice of re-opening access before the (rifle) season, just like last year.
