While trimming some of the fat off on a hog steak I noticed something that looked like a stick stuck into the meat. After cutting away some gristle
I saw what it was. My Nosler 180 grain E Tip. I shot this hog at 300 yards. As you could see the bullet did not mushroom very well. This came out of my 300 WBY. The velocity at the muzzle is about 3200. I am not very impress with the results. The bullet does group very well in my gun but I think I might be going back to the barnes bullet. I am sure glad I that I did eat the darn thing.
