Looking 4 A New Veterinarian

I'm taking delivery of a GWP pup on Monday and would like to try a new vet--have been with VCA (Very Costly Animal) and another place in Downey which I became dissatisfied with. Not looking for the cheapest, but not digging the automatic "we're going to do a blood test" (profit center) every time you walk in the door.

Can someone reccomend a good vet along the 405 between Huntington and Redondo Beaches?

PS--Anyone know why vets demand a copy of your driver's license when you have to pay up-front for everything anyway?
