Mentor Wanted Looking for a mentor in central California

I’m 36 and live in central California. I have my hunting license and am educating myself as much as I can online but don’t have any experience in the field. I’m a veteran and in law enforcement so I have firearm experience but looking for someone to guide me as I navigate this new adventure. I’m happy to go out with you scouting and go as a second hunting just to observe and learn.

Having someone tag along while hunting decreases the success rate substantially. If you are serious about hunting hire a guide. There are groups on this forum that go out pig hunting that you could go with. That is a great way to meet hunters that can help you out. Good luck.
