OK - I have just begun researching digital cameras for my own use - the features that I know I want are:
1. Zoom capable of taking photos of animals from my treestand w/o them looking like dots on the wall. How much zoom do I need? What is the difference in Optical vs. Digital zoom?
2. Enough mega pixles to have clear shots - How much do I need?
3. Afordability - I do not want to spend more than 500.00 and would like to stay under 300.00 if possible.
4. Portability - small and light is nice as this will be traveling with me in my hunting pack.
5. Durability - I am pretty careful with my stuff but this will see the inside of a fanny or backpack and will log some miles.
6. user friendliness - I am not the most computer savey guy and I have a PC - I want to load the photos onto my computer and email them to friends or attach them into a site like this.
Any other advice opinions you all might have is appreciated.
