Hi -

We were going to book with Camp 5, but they are booked through July.
<
We like them because it is an entire weekend, you stay there, etc. We do not want a hunt where we stay in a motel, meet at a restaurant, go shoot a hog on a ranch and be on our way home by noon. We'd like a place where we can stay, cook our own food, hang out at night and hunt hogs. If we get a hog, then we can shoot ground suirrels or jack rabbits until Sunday, when we leave.
There would be 4 of us, rifle hunting, and we are looking for the weekend of March 17.

I know there is a guide review section, but more than previous clients' satisfaction, we are looking for a place like described above. When you go to Camp 5, you are able to stick around and hunt varmints as part of the deal.

Thanks!
Rick

Just so happens that Tejon is having a Pig-O-Rama (POR) that same weekend. If you're familiar you know it's one of the best times pig hunting you can have. If you're not familiar do a search here on this forum and you'll come up with (literally) hundreds of posts about the Tejon POR - and it's in the same price range $400.00 for the weekend. Of course it's unguided but man is it an awesome piece of land and the pigs are there. It's an option worth thinking about.......come to think of it, I'll be there that weekend for the POR and I can't wait to be out in that country. Good luck.
