Hi folks,
My buddy and I (long time upland and waterfowl hunters) are going to finally try for some porkers out at FHL (we're both (4-legged) pig virgins). We've got the guns ready to rock, all the gear (note name), and chose FHL based on a few factors. Not the least of which is that it's unguided, cheap, we can camp, and it's way the he77 out of town!
We could use a couple of tips if you wouldn't mind sharing. I printed the "voucher request form" and will get that mailed, am ready to deal with "those" people but will get thru it, and we're really looking forward to a good time regardless of hunting success. Jesse, thanks for the great site!
Any big "dos and don'ts" for FHL? Hunting pigs in general? I've been reading the pages here for about a month now (congrats to all of you at the POR; it's what got me fired up to go in the first place!) so I've learned a few things thru osmosis.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike
