Los Padres Carrizo Plains Area

I've posted before that my job sometimes requires me to go to the Bakersfield area and next week is one of those times. It's pretty neat because they pay the gas and mileage to and from Bakersfield.
I just pay Bakersfield to Carrizo or Los Padres.

Anybody know if the hogs patterns include the Carrizo area off the 58 this time of year or is it a waiste of time?

Just want to check because of all the posts I've read to date I don't recall anything killed over there after Sept/Oct.

The last time I was up there all I saw was elk.

Any general area pointers would be appreciated. I'll do the footwork

camp at the camp north of kcl and start hiking....i saw some sign up there once about a year ago...it was snowing the whole day i was up there though
