The razor's edge between tantalizing and tormenting will be honed even sharper at the Bay Area's biggest lake. Los Vaqueros Reservoir, nestled in a valley in the East Bay hills between Livermore and Brentwood, is on track to be expanded to 1,900 surface...
Though i've not been to the reservoir, one of it's shores lies not two miles away from the Ranch House of my Grandparents, was the largest single landowner between there and Mt Diablo. While growing up we were about the only family living in the area. All that country was like my backyard and i'd take off afoot either hunting or scouting, would often cover that lower area as well as the upper sections we owned that are now East Bay Regional Park. Wonderful place to grow up, learned how to work and learned how to hunt, killed many fine bucks in that rugged brush and rimrocked country back in the day. A kid could hardly have it better than i did!
