Lower jaw Elk rear molars

A friend wants to make two rings from an elk's lower rear molars. I don't hunt elk, but know of a few folks (here) that do.

Are you sure he is looking for molars? Or ivories?

Ivories are the top canine teeth. Never heard of anyone using molars for jewelry.
