Lure Diver is hunting hogs, on Christmas!

While all of us are at home enjoying Christmas Eve, our very own LD is over at Sonoma camping and getting ready to hunt hogs on Christmas day! I was advised, via cell phone, that he saw several hogs this evening, but could not get on em' as light was fading. He also has a game camera up on a hot trail, and is looking to capture a few pictures on nocturnal hogs.

The last report I got from LD was that he was heading over to the Indian Casino

And the last time I saw LD mixing it up at an Indian Casino was, well lets just put it this way...it was down-right scary

Well- Sunday I got in there kinda of late so light was fading fast, set up on the usual spot and luck have it the pigs where there. They were feeding 45 yards out in front but to much cover between me and them so no shots fired.

Christmas Morning- Set out on foot for a long hike, bumped two groups of pigs out of their beds at 8:45 am and 9:00am. The second group was 15 yards away but the cover was extremely thick and all I could do was watch as a 150 lb. black boar walk out of his bed and feed away from me.

Christmas Evening- Set up on a heavily used area and waited but no pigs filtered in.

3 groups of pigs, no shots but I did find a new "Honey Hole".

Even though you got no pigs, look at it this way: At least no putting up with any in-laws!!!!!!!!!!!
