I just finished building a 458 Socom. My question is is it legal in California for me to take a "standard" 30 round 5.56 mag and engrave onto it 458 Socom 9 rounds. The rifle takes standard 5.56 mags. I dont need to change anything for them to take 458 socom. in a 30 round mag I can only put in 9 rounds. Will it be "legal" to use them exclusivly with the 458?
