Managed Deer Hunt

This is my selection for the managed hunt this year. It's a muzzle loader and the time should be right in tune with the upcoming rut. Only 80 hunter though, will be tough to get drawn for sure.

 Im not real sure but arent you allowed to bow hunt there?
 Seems me and some buds were looking it over last year for invasion of the hick kind,but i could be wrong.

I have never hunted it before but was told by my buddy that we would have to take a boat to access it.

Some of the areas allow bowhunting and some do not. I'm not sure about Pelican Island though.

 Yeah,it takes a boat to get to it,it also seems like i remember that it has little water chanels running all through it tha a guy could get a boat in to.
 Be prepared for skeeters if it is warm at all.
