My father-in-law found these two sheds in a terraced hay field. One was found 50 yards from the timber line and the other was found 50 yds farther down the hill on top of a terrace. He must have been running and dropped them both in a close cut fescue hay field. Just guessing I think he might measure somewhere around 145. What's your guess? I mounted them by guestimation of his spread.

Nice set..................How did you set the horn's into the wood mount?
I like the way you mounted it.

That is a nice rack. Hopefully he is still running around. Imagine how he will look next season.

Mounting....I used wood screws (2 for each horn) angled and countersunk on the small block. To mount the small block to the larger block I countersunk two wood screws and put a wood plug into the hole. To hang it I drilled a hole slightly larger than the nail head at an upward angle on the top portion on the back of the larger block. This shed was found 12 years ago so I doubt that he is still out there. For picture purposes I set it on an old deerskin rug that is 40+ years old.
