Prescribed burns can improve grassland wildlife habitat.
Chillicothe, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will offer a workshop on using prescribed fire to improve grasslands and benefit wildlife habitat at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Mildred Litton Community Center, 10780 LIV 235, near Chillicothe. The workshop is free but pre-registration is required by Jan. 28.
