Elsberry, Mo. — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is holding a Wetland Field Day Saturday, Oct. 3, at B.K. Leach Conservation Area in Lincoln County. This free event will give the public a chance to learn why these habitats are so important, how MDC manages them, and most importantly, the opportunity to explore a wetland first hand.
Wetland Field Day will offer informative presentations from MDC experts on wetland-related topics from 9 a.m. to noon. Preregistration is required to attend the presentations and opens at 8 a.m.
