COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is hosting a workshop for landowners on how to effectively and safely use prescribed fire to boost wildlife habitat and reduce less desirable plant species. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. on March 9 at Bradford Research Center in Columbia. The workshop is free and lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required by March 6.
