JAMESTOWN, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is hosting a workshop for landowners on how to effectively and safely use prescribed fire to boost wildlife habitat and reduce less desirable plant species. The workshop is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Jamestown Community Center, 130 E. Row St. in Jamestown. The workshop is free and lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required by Feb. 12.
