JOPLIN, Mo. – A hunter's work is not done when he or she harvests a deer. How to field dress it, skin it, process the meat and store it for future tasty meals are beneficial skills for hunters to know.
People who are interested in processing their own deer should plan to attend the Missouri Department of Conservation's (MDC) "From Field to Freezer" seminar. This event will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 24) at the Wildcat Glade Conservation and Audubon Center in Joplin at 201 W. Riviera Drive.
