Kirksville, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites women to get hands-on outdoor skills training at its Discover Nature: Women’s Basic Firearms program from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Sugar Creek Conservation Area (CA). Participants will learn the basics of safe firearm shooting with a shotgun, rifle, and handgun, with shooting practice at the shooting range under expert supervision.
