High Ridge, Mo. — As a hunter, have you ever wished you could talk to and understand deer? Whitetail deer have their own "language," and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is offering aspiring hunters the chance to learn to understand it.
MDC welcomes Knight & Hale Pro Staffer and Champion Caller Keith Wahlig for a Youth Deer Calling and Scent Use Clinic. The clinic takes place Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at MDC's Jay Henges Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center in High Ridge. The event is free and geared to youths age 6 to 15.
