[attachment=37840:attachment]My buddy shot this boar on private property in the south bay. He followed the hog up hill and was surprised to see him staring down on him at 13 yds, nashing his teeth. He came to full draw and pocket shot him with the fletch sticking out the near side and the broadhead out the far side. The hog let out a blood curdling roar and came straight down at him. My buddy ran full tilt down the creek bed with the hog's breath and sound of busting brush close behind. He ran all the way to the main road even though the hog died in the first 20 yds. Can't say as I blame him

Nice hog and congrats to your buddy. This isn't the same guy that you told me and BC about getting charged on that property we hunted in Nov. is it? If so I think I'd be wary of helping find wounded pigs!

Kentuck, there's two "incidences" that have occured at my spot. This is the same guy who was charged and bitten by a wounded sow, less than a hundred pounds, drawing blood and ripping his pant leg open. The other one was a smaller boar, different guy. I watched the second one from the safety of an oak tree while Tim stood steadfast at full draw while the charging boar ripped past him at about three feet. Can you say "Cajones". His shot pierced the hogs ear leaving a perfect broadhead hole just like an earing. The shot was just enough to make the boar veer off at the last moment. I felt bad for hanging him out to dry, but I did tell him to pick out a tree while we approached the wounded hog. He chose to stand at full draw, I chose the tree....
