Meopta Spotting Scope

Has anyone tried the Meopta spotting scopes ?

Cabelas has one with a 70mm objective on sale for $299. It comes with two fixed power eyepieces, not a zoom.

I was also wondering who makes the Euro binocs for Cabelas. They look like the Meopta binocs.

Anyone know ?

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but Meopta is known for making pretty good stuff. I'd say get'em and if you don't like'em, return'em. Cabela's has a pretty liberal return policy. Looks like a pretty decent scope at a great price. The Cabela's Euro is a rebadged Meopta bino.
