I took this one through a storm door in order to catch it sitting in the Oleander. It was taken early in march 2007

Nice job focusing on the bird through the oleander Leod. I really like that frame! It complements the image very well.

up until now, I've never seen a mocking bird. I used to have one that would make a nest in the spring right outside my bedroom window, he would mock at dusk and last for hours. It was cool to listen to in the summer nights laying in bed. I could never get a good look at them though, they would nest in the tree only in the evening, not sure where they would venture out during the day, but they would always return at dusk and sing for me.

Thanks all for your comments, a bit of Windex before I took it helped.

Mocking birds are real entertaining to hear and watch, specially when they "dive" at people and animals in the area where they have a nest.

Hideandwatch, I love my Oly

the only short coming I have found is the shortage of lens manufactured for the 4/3's system by various lens makers ..... although it is slowly growing, but nothing like whats available for the more popular brand cameras
