Any of you ever bought a upper from model 1? How was your experience? I'm thinking of getting the 24 inch 556 upper and building a long range coyote gun.

Go to palmettostatearmory.com I get really good deals from them all the time...39.99stripped lower 29.99 stripped uppers. You just have to be constantly checking the website for in stock items. Of course theh are blems but I couldnt figure out what the blem was on my parts.

I'm just getting into ar's. I'm not comfortable with my ability to build the uppers. Do you have to have a stripped lower sent to a ffl?

Yes you do. And its very easy to build the lowers. They also have deals on complete upper receivers

I bought an Upper from them, it took them a long time to ship it, evidently they were a little overwhelmed with orders at the time. The upper is great though, accurate and reliable.
