Thanks for posting that Jesse. At the ISE show in Sacramento, I was sitting listening to "that Elk calling expert", can't remember his name.... He asked the audience if any Iraq war vets were in the house. A couple good 'ol boys from the south raised their hands, and we all applauded. Having been blessed with some pretty good property to hunt, and having a couple colds ones in me, I walked up and invited them to hog/turkey hunt w/ me. They were extremely shocked that a stranger would do that. They were very humble and appreciative. Yet it was no skin off my ass. I get to meet a couple patriotic guys, learn about the south, and make some new friends. I'm not saying this to blow my own horn, but to encourage some of you guys to do the same. If you've been blessed, give something back to those who've gone through living hell, without a whole lot in return. How hard is that?

I have been very glad to see the difference in the way folks at home have treated returning vets from Iraq etc than the way they were treated during another unpopular war-Viet Nam-no matter your feelings about the politics etc these men and women are giving everything and folks at home should appreciate it. Super of rancher and mike to make vets feel appreciated.

Mike,
Now that you mention it, Pampanin wants me to take him hunting. He's putting in for Elk at Liggett this year.
But the only disability those two have is mental!!
