Ah come on Jesse. If anybody I know sees me taking pictures of flowers they'll think I've flipped.

Oh well maybe I can sneak a picture while nobody's looking.

Lost exposure info, I bracketed several shots, this one is closest to actual lighting. This was late in the afternoon in a shady part of the back yard. There are some even better but they were all closed up, I'll get 'em in the mornin'.

This challenge is kind of tough for some of us Canadian boys. We don't have much for flowers in April. As the saying goes April showers bring May flowers. The only thing that I will find in April is a crocus. I guess they will have to do once they come out.

Here is a picture of the azalea bush that someone gave for my father-in-law's funeral several years ago.

Here's a pic of a couple Lady Slipper's. They grow wild in the heavy timber in Oregon where there isn't much underbrush.

Why no pic in my post? I'll have to work on that when I have more time!

Ha Ha, very funny... it was 24 degrees this morning and snowing yesterday! I guess I will have to go to the Home Depot to get my pictures!

I don't know what this is, but I found it the other day on a walk with my daughter.

Taken in Macro @ about 3 inches with Oly C-740.

foulshot, that is called a butterfly iris. Supposedly they attract butterflies. We have some in our yard but we have not seen any butterflies yet.
