I've noticed that over the last several years the amount of barley grown has been way down compared to the previous decade or so. But the last time I was up in the Central Coast region in April, it looked like I saw a lot more barley fields. Am I wrong or has the global increase in grain prices contributed to more barley along the Central Coast this year?

Have you priced hay lately?

I'd grow some here if I could.[/b]

Oh Rancho, hay is for horses. We all know what CA's real cash crop is!

Roll out first weekend of August, but I'm hoping to fly back and pick up my truck full of hunting stuff to hit A20 Aug. 14-18, and then drive off to Bozeman with a P&Y Mulie in the back.

I've got a pro bird dog out there right now sniffing up the biggies. All I'll have to do is punch in the GPS, and nock an arrow. Hopefully he'll stash some of that snake-oil under a sage bush for me.

smart azz remarks like that, and you think you are going to get any good info from me? Guess what, I saw 10 big dumb bucks 100 yards to the South of Virginia Lakes road. You need to wrap your A20 tag around the horns of one of them bad boys!
