Went out on Saturday to find some sheds. The rain, fog, snow and wind could not keep me home.
Found this tail strip on a trail, probally ripped off by a cat. I also found several fawn legs scattered around the trails. Then found a dead bear with huge skull, but it was stinky so I hid it until next time, sorry no picture.
Here is a pic of a buried forked horn that the rodents were feeding on. I spotted the single tine and hoped for a huge shed underneath but all I got was a forkie, oh well.
Here are all the sheds of the day. Nine in all, 7 forked horns and 2 three points. Nothing big like last time but it was still worth it. You can the little 3 point has old electrical wire around it. It looks around 10 years old, it is very spongy and some of the skull is still attached. He probally got caught in some brush and starved or got eaten.
