I was working up in the Artic for the last ten days and found 7 fresh caribou sheds!
These were all small bulls and cows. The majority of the bulls loose thier antlers on thier wintering grounds further south. This was right off the artic ocean (-40 with the wind chill) so it was just small bulls and cows.
My camera crapped out up there but luckily my co worker's was still working he took the pics. I was able to take 1 small one home due to limited space.
found 2 more mulies before I left so my count is at 130 now!
