It’s been so long since I’ve seen a robin, I kind of forgot what they look like (I thought I found something else). I’ve never seen them this bright before. And oh yeah… my third day in a row seeing waxwings!

I have no idea what this bird is, and this isn’t a very good shot for ID purposes… this was a get it before it goes shot, and then it did. The bird was just a little bigger than a titmouse.

Nice Paul - haven't seen any robins here yet - good thing - its supposed to get below zero again tonight and tomorrow.

Heres a pic of a bird that kinda looks like your last one. I have a couple of them that hang around the house. I thought it was just a lighter colored Junko.

Thanks Bobcatman04 and Dave.

Wow Dave, did take that pic? Nice and sharp with great detail! I don't think it was a junco, the beak was longer and the wings are shaped a little different... I'm thinking it might be a thrush or some kind of warbler. I'm waiting for someone who is really knowledgeable on bird ID's to reply on a different site... I hate being stumped!

Here's a tighter crop.

Thank you Mike.

The little 'unknown bird' is a hermit thrush, I was thinking that it might be a veery thrush.... I was close!
