Went out early and froze my butt off. A buddy and I set up on a ridge that allowed us to see two areas. No pigs, so we decided to go for a walk. Kicked up three 150 lb. linebackers. Saw them for a second and off into the thick stuff they went. They worked their way up the next hill and one stopped in an open pocket and that was it.

Man that hill you're on looks steep. Congrats on the pork patrol.

Went out again this morning. Had a brush breaker, but never saw it. Spec, it was steep. Thank god he roles down a bit. Only problem was that the last 20 yards was a killer. Had to crawl out with him. We were hunting in Creston. Now we are off to Santa Paula to get some Jalapeño Cheddar and some Italian done up.

Decided to go with Brats instead of the Italian. Looking forward to some sausage.
